This page explains what daylnk collects when you join the waitlist, why, and what your rights are. We try to keep it short and honest.
Who runs this site
This website (daylnk.com) is operated by the team behind the daylnk app. If you have questions about your data, email signup@daylnk.com.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your first name and email address, because that's what you typed into the form.
- The date and time you signed up, so we know when you gave consent.
- Your IP address and browser user-agent, kept short-term for security and abuse prevention.
Why we collect it
We use your name and email to:
- Send you a confirmation that you've joined the waitlist.
- Email you when daylnk launches and (occasionally) before then with product updates.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the checkbox on the signup form.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in a MySQL database on our hosting provider, Rackhost Zrt. (Hungary, EU). It's not shared with anyone else. We do not sell or trade your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist information until daylnk launches and you either become a user or ask us to delete it. If daylnk does not launch, we'll delete the waitlist within 24 months.
Your rights under GDPR
You can at any time:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Have it corrected if it's wrong.
- Have it deleted ("right to be forgotten").
- Withdraw your consent and stop receiving emails.
- File a complaint with the Hungarian DPA (NAIH) if you think we're handling your data badly.
To exercise any of these rights, just email signup@daylnk.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies and tracking
This landing page does not set any tracking cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The signup form does not require cookies to work.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we'll email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
